Programme Manager

About the role

A leading multimedia production company, known for content celebrating Nigerian and African fashion, music and entertainment, is running a project to empower Nigerian youth with the skills and knowledge to lead the future of the creative industry. It is looking for a Programme Manager to design, plan, contract, implement and close out activities across the project's life cycle. The role reports to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team and its technical and operational aspects, including planning and implementation, and provide overall project leadership, management and technical direction
• Identify fundraising strategies that support the project's mission and vision, and forecast, measure and report results with partners such as co-created content promotions, lead sharing and event partnerships
• Maintain existing partner relationships and build new ones with civil society and the private sector
• Manage dashboards that track learner reports, course adoption, progress and learner data
• Liaise with local government institutions, civil society organisations and private companies to coordinate activities and monitor project outcomes
• Oversee report preparation for corporate reporting and prepare annual work plans, activity updates and other communications
• Provide financial oversight of the project budget and give regular updates on learner progress and recommendations for improvement
• Manage course production cycles and curriculum improvements, including scouting and recommending course facilitators
• Define the strategy for learner admissions, onboarding and transitions for each cohort

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
• Degree in a relevant field
• Certification in Project Management is an advantage
