Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About the role

eRecruiter is hiring a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Lagos. The officer monitors project activities and progress towards outputs, strengthens M&E plans and procedures, supports data collection and analysis, and helps prepare reports, reviews and evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving project outputs.
• Strengthen the monitoring and evaluation plan and procedures.
• Support M&E data collection and processing methods, and ensure smooth data collection and analysis.
• Prepare, validate and send monthly data to supported partners.
• Assist with project progress reporting, mid-term review and final evaluation.
• Identify lessons learned and develop case studies capturing qualitative outputs.
• Advise the supervisor on improving project performance using M&E findings.
• Maintain and administer the M&E database, analyse and aggregate findings.
• Support the M&E manager in preparing and facilitating knowledge exchange.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, well grounded in social sciences.
• At least one year of experience in a monitoring and evaluation environment.
• Experience with an international organization or donor-funded project is an added advantage.
• High level of written and verbal communication and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Data analysis and visualization skills.
