Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of donor‑funded public health, data collection and digital innovation programmes across Nigeria. This senior position requires strong operational expertise, stakeholder management and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and closure of donor‑funded health and data programmes across multiple states.
• Translate grant agreements and work‑plans into detailed road‑maps, milestones and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, monitor burn rates and ensure compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit narrative, financial and M&E reports to donors.
• Serve as primary liaison with donor agencies, government bodies (e.g., NAFDAC, NMEP), NGOs and vendors.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including call‑centre operations, field officers, data analysts and engineering.
• Oversee field operations, training, CATI surveys and digital data‑collection workflows, mitigating operational risks.
• Work with analytics and M&E teams to track performance, capture lessons learned and improve delivery models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Public Health, Social Sciences, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience managing complex projects, with at least 3–5 years on donor‑funded or grant‑supported programmes.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑state programmes and deliver on‑time, on‑budget.
