Medical Sales Representative

About the role

The Medical Sales Representative will drive sales of pharmaceutical and healthcare products across the Abuja Marina region. You will build and nurture relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, doctors, and distributors while meeting monthly sales and collection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed assigned monthly sales and collection targets.
• Promote and sell designated pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, doctors, distributors and other healthcare customers.
• Conduct regular customer and product visits within the assigned territory.
• Generate new customer accounts and expand existing ones.
• Follow up on quotations, orders, outstanding invoices and customer payments.
• Monitor customer credit and ensure timely collection of debts.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, sales activities, orders and collections in the company CRM.
• Provide regular sales and market intelligence reports to management.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product availability and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare, FMCG or B2B sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience selling pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals or healthcare professionals is an advantage.
• Strong customer relationship and account‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned territory effectively.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to undertake extensive fieldwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
