Program Management Intern

About the role

The Program Management Intern supports the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public health programs, pilot projects and strategic initiatives within a health technology organization. Working closely with the Public Health and Program Management teams, the intern gains hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, data management, research, reporting and program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public health programs, pilot projects and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain accurate program records and help prepare reports for management, donors, partners and other stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze and present program data and findings for monitoring and evaluation.
• Coordinate project timelines, meetings, travel logistics and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, presentations and other program documentation.
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
• Liaise with healthcare facilities, ambulance providers, government agencies, community partners and other stakeholders.
• Support procurement, inventory management, logistics, training sessions, workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist with communications, research and tracking of project deliverables and timelines.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Public Health and Program Management team, and perform other duties as assigned.
