Program Analyst

About the role

The Program Analyst provides technical and operational support for the execution of assigned SCIDaR programs, handling day-to-day execution of all program workflows. The position is based in Abuja and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution of program activities, contribute to a program workstream and escalate program challenges to the Program Associate
• Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations
• Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners so activities run smoothly and results are achieved
• Take part in routine technical problem-solving sessions with the primary client and stakeholders to solve implementation challenges and agree on decisions
• Monitor and review program activities regularly to ensure quality, accountability and contractual compliance with deliverables and performance indicators
• Document progress reports and liaise with key stakeholders
• Participate in structured mid-term and end-term program evaluations

Required profile

• Minimum of a second-class upper Bachelor's degree in International Development, Applied Sciences and Technology, Policy and Strategy Development, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management, Nursing, Medicine and Surgery, Engineering or a similarly relevant field from a reputable university
• 0-3 years of relevant post-NYSC experience
• Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional or extracurricular setting
