Professional Driver – Private Residence

About the role

We are seeking a reliable professional driver to transport the employer and authorized passengers safely and punctually across Port Harcourt and surrounding areas. The role includes vehicle upkeep, route planning, and maintaining confidentiality about the employer’s movements.

Key responsibilities

• Transport the employer and passengers to appointments and scheduled destinations on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, report faults, and assist with minor maintenance.
• Plan efficient routes using local road knowledge.
• Observe all traffic laws and road‑safety regulations.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal affairs.
• Assist with other reasonable driving‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a professional or personal driver.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s licence.
• Good knowledge of Port Harcourt roads and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, discipline and trustworthiness.
• Neat, presentable and respectful demeanor.
• Willingness to reside on the premises if required.
• Previous experience working for a private residence is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to identify minor faults.
