Production Manager - FMCG

About the role

An FMCG company based in Ikeja, Lagos is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production operations. The role covers efficient production processes, product quality standards, resource optimisation, minimising downtime and meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficient production processes
• Maintain product quality standards and minimise production downtime
• Optimise resources and achieve production targets in line with company objectives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Food Science or a related discipline
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in production management within FMCG or manufacturing
• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial production role
• Experience managing production teams and monitoring performance indicators
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Production planning, process optimisation and manufacturing operations
• Good understanding of GMP, quality control, workplace safety and production documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or production management system knowledge is an advantage
• Leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
