About the role
The Maintenance Technician will ensure efficient operation, reliability and longevity of mechanical systems by installing, maintaining and repairing pumps, piping systems and associated fittings. This role is key to minimizing downtime, improving system performance and maintaining safe, compliant operations.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair pumps, valves, pipelines and mechanical fittings.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out corrective repairs on pumps and rotating equipment.
- Inspect mechanical systems to identify wear, leakage and potential failures.
- Support maintenance of the water treatment area.
- Replace defective components such as seals, bearings, gaskets and couplings.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and piping layouts.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
Required profile
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with pump systems, piping and mechanical fittings.
- Knowledge of water treatment equipment.
