Production Manager – Fashion Garment Production

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Production Manager to lead our garment production team in Surulere, Lagos. The role involves overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that client orders meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all production activities to meet quality and timeline requirements.
• Manage tailors, finishing staff, and other production personnel, fostering productivity and accountability.
• Ensure garments are produced according to client measurements, designs, and production instructions.
• Develop and monitor production schedules aligned with agreed delivery dates.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Quality Control to secure materials and maintain standards.
• Handle urgent and routine orders, adjusting workflow without disrupting overall production.
• Reduce waste, rework, and delays through effective planning and process control.
• Maintain accurate production status in CRM and operational software.
• Escalate risks, material issues, or staff challenges with practical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar supervisory role within fashion or garment manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of tailoring processes, measurements, finishing, and quality standards.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and implement quick, practical solutions.
