About the role
The company seeks a Supervisor for its fitting and fabrication workshop to lead cost‑effective sheet‑metal production. The role ensures safe, efficient operations while meeting technical specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sheet‑metal fabrications according to drawings and safety rules.
- Maintain workshop equipment through regular cleaning, lubrication, and repairs.
- Study sample parts and drawings to plan operation sequences and calculate measurements.
- Estimate material requirements, prepare requisitions, and minimise waste.
- Repair damaged components and monitor operating parameters for abnormalities.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in sheet‑metal or related fabrication.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use precision measurement tools.
Required skills
- Sheet‑metal fabrication techniques.
- Use of calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments.
- Reading and developing mechanical drawings.
