Product Manager

About the role

The Product Manager will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Yodo Pay features, driving discovery, definition, delivery and continuous optimization. This full‑time, on‑site position in Abuja works closely with engineering, design, operations and compliance to ship high‑quality releases for a social payments platform.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and prioritize user and business requirements, translating them into clear product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan sprints, manage backlogs and ensure timely product launches.
• Analyze user behavior and transaction data, run experiments and iterate on product performance.
• Align stakeholders around product goals and support go‑to‑market activities with marketing and customer support.
• Engage with users and the Nigerian fintech ecosystem to identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience defining product vision, roadmaps and feature requirements for consumer or fintech products.
• Strong skills in user interviewing, market research, data analysis and translating insights into decisions.
• Experience working with engineering, design and operations teams to deliver product updates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; comfortable working on‑site in Abuja.
