Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for Troven Solution Services Ltd, ensuring competitive pricing, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms.
• Oversee purchase orders for local and foreign supplies, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop cost‑saving strategies and optimise procurement expenditure.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with relevant departments on demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and company standards.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead, coach, and supervise the procurement team to achieve operational targets.
• Prepare procurement reports, analyse performance data, and recommend improvements.
• Review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management with proven team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of local and foreign procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity and sound professional judgement.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria or a relevant certification is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is an added advantage.
