About the role
The Presser/Laundry Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial laundry equipment to ensure high‑quality cleaning and presentation of clothing, uniforms, and household linens. This position works on‑site at the company’s facility in Marina, Lagos.
Key responsibilities
- Operate industrial washers, dryers, extractors, steam presses, hydraulic presses, and hand irons.
- Press and shape items according to fabric type and company standards.
- Sort and inspect items by color, fabric, and care requirements, checking for stains or damage.
- Pre‑treat stains using appropriate chemicals, brushes, or steam.
- Fold, hang, and bag finished items, ensuring professional presentation.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning filters, lubricating parts, and keeping the workspace safe.
Required profile
- Prior experience in laundry or dry‑cleaning environments.
- Knowledge of fabric care, chemicals, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work punctually, as part of a team, and adhere to safety standards.
