PR & Media Executive

About the role

Entro, an event discovery and lifestyle brand connecting people to experiences, entertainment, culture and communities across cities, is growing and is looking for a creative, proactive and ambitious PR & Media Executive. The role helps build the brand's visibility, storytelling and relationships through strategic communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies that increase Entro's visibility and brand awareness.
• Identify and secure media coverage, press features, interviews and publication opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, content creators and industry stakeholders.
• Write press releases, media pitches, brand announcements and corporate communications.
• Drive publicity for events, campaigns, partnerships and brand initiatives, and coordinate media coverage before, during and after events.
• Identify strategic collaborations and publicity opportunities, and work with the marketing and creative team on consistent brand communication.
• Monitor media presence, campaign performance and PR outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in PR, media relations, communications, journalism or brand marketing.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian media and entertainment landscape.
• Ability to build relationships and proactively pursue opportunities.
• Creative thinking, initiative and a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
