PR & Corporate Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a PR & Corporate Communications Manager to develop and execute strategic public relations and communications plans that align with client business objectives and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR campaigns, media outreach, corporate announcements, and thought‑leadership programmes.
• Manage multiple client accounts, serving as the primary contact and ensuring quality service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, influencers and other stakeholders to secure coverage.
• Prepare press releases, media statements, executive speeches, thought‑leadership articles and other communication materials.
• Coordinate media interviews, press briefings, product launches and corporate events.
• Monitor media coverage, public sentiment and reputational risks, advising on crisis communication strategies.
• Track and evaluate campaign performance using metrics such as reach, engagement and sentiment.
• Identify opportunities for account expansion, develop proposals and support new business acquisition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications or media relations, preferably in an agency or consultancy.
• Proven experience planning and executing PR campaigns, managing media relationships and handling client accounts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with media monitoring, reporting and communication tools.

What we offer

• Monthly gross salary between NGN 500,000 and 600,000.
• Annual performance‑based bonus.
• Per diem, airtime allowance and HMO coverage.
