PR and Communication Strategist

About the role

The PR and Communication Strategist will lead the development and execution of strategic public relations and media communication plans for PRM AFRICA. You will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility, managing media relationships, and safeguarding the organization’s public image. This senior position requires a proactive approach to media planning and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic public relations and media communication plans.
• Conduct media planning and coordinate brand visibility across relevant channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and key stakeholders.
• Manage media negotiations and secure favorable coverage and publicity opportunities.
• Write, edit, and distribute press releases, official statements, and media advisories.
• Monitor media coverage, maintain media contact lists, and produce periodic PR and media performance reports.
