Poultry Farm Manager

About the role

The Poultry Farm Manager will lead on‑site operations at Emmppek Farms’ poultry facility in Sapele, Delta State. This full‑time role focuses on sustainable production, animal welfare, and biosecurity within a circular‑economy framework.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily poultry farming processes and ensure optimal animal health and welfare.
• Supervise and train farm staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurity.
• Manage inventory of feed, equipment, and supplies, and coordinate procurement.
• Develop and monitor budgets, track expenses, and report financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to implement best practices and achieve production targets.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in livestock and poultry management with a focus on animal welfare and biosecurity.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
• Understanding of agricultural compliance standards.
• Problem‑solving mindset, adaptability, and proactive attitude.
• Experience with sustainable farming or circular‑economy concepts is a plus.
