Podcast Video Editor Intern (Hybrid)

About the role

The Cave Africa is looking for a Podcast Video Editor intern to support the production of its podcast series. Working hybrid from Lagos and the co‑working space, you will edit video and audio recordings, add branding elements and prepare episodes for digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit video and audio recordings for podcast episodes, including cutting, arranging clips and adding intros/outros.
• Perform color grading to ensure visual consistency.
• Synchronize audio, add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds and overlays.
• Prepare final videos for publishing on social media and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with hosts and the marketing team to maintain brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong interest in video production and podcast‑style content.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Experience in video color grading.
• Ability to create motion graphics and on‑screen titles.
• Basic audio editing and synchronization skills.
