Physical Health Education Teacher

About the role

StreSERT Integrated Limited is seeking a dedicated Physical Health Education Teacher to join its Marina campus in Lagos. The role involves delivering the British curriculum for Physical Education across EYFS, Key Stages, IGCSE and A‑Level programmes, fostering an inclusive and active learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, differentiated Physical Education lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment strategies for IGCSE, AS and A‑Level courses.
• Assess, record and report student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum materials and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student wellbeing and progress.
• Uphold school values, policies and code of conduct.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong familiarity with the British curriculum framework (EYFS, Key Stages, IGCSE, A‑Levels).
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., TRCN) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in using a variety of teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to professionalism, continuous improvement and student success.
