Performance Manual Tester

About the role

The Performance Manual Tester will design, execute and maintain load, stress, endurance and scalability tests for enterprise‑scale applications. You will work closely with development, DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure that systems meet performance benchmarks and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop performance testing scripts and scenarios for load, stress, endurance and scalability testing.
• Execute tests, monitor system performance metrics and capture application response times.
• Analyze bottlenecks, produce detailed performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support non‑functional testing and release readiness.
• Maintain documentation, follow testing and reporting standards, and ensure secure testing practices.

Required profile

• 7–15+ years of experience in performance testing within enterprise‑scale digital or IT environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under defined timelines, adapt to changing priorities and follow documentation standards.

Required skills

• Experience designing and executing performance test cases and scenarios.
• Familiarity with testing, monitoring and enterprise systems.
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, security and performance optimization concepts.
• Knowledge of defect tracking, root‑cause analysis and quality improvement practices.
