People & Culture Welfare Officer

About the role

The People & Culture Welfare Officer will enhance the employee experience at Banana Island Resort Doha by planning and coordinating welfare initiatives, engagement activities, and well‑being projects. You will support internal communications, employee surveys, and event coordination to foster a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and coordinate employee engagement and welfare activities, including celebrations, recognition programmes and community events.
• Support the implementation of employee well‑being initiatives and promote participation in People & Culture programmes.
• Conduct accommodation inspections, run satisfaction surveys and follow up on welfare concerns.
• Design posters, announcements, newsletters and promotional materials using Canva, ensuring brand compliance.
• Maintain welfare records, prepare reports, trackers and dashboards in Microsoft Excel, and analyse survey results for management recommendations.
• Coordinate logistics for engagement events, liaise with internal departments and external suppliers, and assist with health campaigns, sports events and CSR activities.
• Respond to employee welfare inquiries confidentially, provide guidance and promote a positive employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field.

Required skills

• Canva for designing communication materials.
• Microsoft Excel for reporting, data tracking and analysis.
