Payments Country Product Lead – Vice President (Nigeria)

About the role

Join JP Morgan Chase Payments as the Payments Country Product Lead, Vice President for Nigeria. You will define and execute the country product strategy, working closely with sales, operations, technology, risk, compliance and legal teams to expand the firm’s footprint and deliver tailored treasury services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of Treasury Services product strategy based on a deep understanding of Nigeria’s payments landscape.
• Create business cases, market analyses and revenue forecasts for new solutions.
• Design short‑, medium‑ and long‑term product roadmaps covering cash, liquidity, access and FX.
• Adapt sales collateral, pricing and RFP materials for target client segments.
• Maintain relationships with regulators and ensure compliance with local governance frameworks.
• Partner with product teams to secure approvals and manage risk controls.
• Drive commercialization plans, communication strategies and revenue growth.
• Represent JP Morgan Chase at industry forums and meetings.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the commercial payments industry in Nigeria.
• Strong product management background with proven ability to gather customer insights and shape go‑to‑market plans.
• Advanced knowledge of risk management, controls and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic thinker with excellent influencing and change‑management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple internal functions and external stakeholders.
