Part‑time Marketing Manager (Remote, Africa)

About the role

africon GmbH is seeking a proactive Marketing Manager to lead its marketing function on a part‑time, remote basis. You will own the end‑to‑end execution of visibility, content, and external positioning initiatives for a consultancy focused on African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across LinkedIn, the company website and the newsletter.
• Maintain and regularly update website content, news, and events.
• Produce and manage recurring content formats such as insights, articles and “Slide of the Month”.
• Prepare, distribute and track the company newsletter and manage contact databases.
• Support event visibility, trade‑fair participation and speaking opportunities, coordinating pre‑ and post‑event communications.
• Ensure consistent branding across all channels and materials, and support internal announcements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in marketing, communications or B2B content roles.
• Strong written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to manage multiple small topics independently.
• Structured, reliable working style in a remote environment.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
