Operations Team Lead

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking an Operations Team Lead to own the end‑to‑end payments operations platform. You will design and execute the strategic roadmap, lead a cross‑functional team, and ensure seamless, scalable processes that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Define the operations vision and align team roadmaps with corporate growth targets.
• Manage the annual operations budget, optimizing headcount, vendor spend, and technology investments.
• Lead a weekly Operations Council with Product, Tech, Risk, and Finance to review performance and prioritize initiatives.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma practices, delivering at least two Kaizen projects per quarter.
• Maintain compliance with CBN, PCI‑DSS, and other regulatory standards, ensuring zero critical audit findings.
• Shape the automation roadmap, prioritizing RPA, AI/ML, and API integrations to reduce manual effort by 30% YoY.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain high‑performing operations talent while maintaining high engagement scores.

Required profile

• Proven ability to translate high‑level strategy into tactical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with experience in KPI management and performance scorecards.
• Experience overseeing compliance and risk in a regulated payments environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling operations teams.
