About the role

Cartwey is a fast‑growing technology company that delivers groceries to Nigerian households in under 45 minutes. As Operations Manager based in Ibadan, you will ensure every order is fulfilled on time, customers are satisfied, and daily operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all store partners.
• Manage the Field Growth Executive and customer support team.
• Coordinate rider availability and confirm store and rider readiness each morning.
• Monitor active orders in real time and resolve delivery issues within 15 minutes.
• Maintain strong relationships with retail partners.
• Produce a clean daily performance report each evening.
• Act as the first point of escalation for any order‑quality or delivery‑speed issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing operations, logistics, or a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Calm and decisive under pressure with strong people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple moving parts.
• Prior experience in logistics, retail operations, delivery coordination, or customer success is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must live in or near Bodija, Ibadan and be available 8 am‑6 pm daily.
