Operations Lead

About the role

Qiqi Farms is looking for a dynamic and meticulous Operations Lead to manage the day-to-day functions of its business, including logistics, delivery schedules, stock control, supplier relations and on-site activities. The role covers the fast-paced environment across Lagos and requires strong planning and technical skills to keep service and reliability high.

Key responsibilities

• Drive vehicles safely and confidently with a valid driver's licence, using digital navigation tools such as Google Maps for route planning.
• Coordinate between delivery teams, suppliers and internal staff, and oversee end-to-end logistics including inventory tracking, supplier management and field operations.
• Resolve operational issues quickly so customer orders are fulfilled on time.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all business activities and transactions.
• Supervise and direct riders, drivers and other team members to maximise productivity and schedule adherence.
• Use digital tools such as Google Workspace, Excel and WhatsApp Business to streamline communication and data management.
• Manage relationships with external partners and clients with strong customer service etiquette.

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence and confident driving ability.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex logistics, inventory and supplier networks.
• Experience managing and leading teams of drivers, riders and support staff.
• Prior experience in operations, logistics, FMCG, agribusiness or food distribution is highly preferred.
• Professional demeanour, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mapping apps such as Google Maps and Waze.
• Advanced skills in Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp Business.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management abilities.
