Operations Lead

About the role

The Operations Lead will support the Managing Director in overseeing daily operations and project delivery within an education-focused consultancy. This role involves coordinating teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely execution of initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MD in managing daily operations and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and external stakeholders, maintaining excellent communication.
• Support preparation of proposals, bids, presentations, reports, and business documents.
• Represent the MD at selected meetings, events, and business development engagements.
• Coordinate training, research, procurement, logistics, and other client projects as required.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and action points, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support business development activities and identify new opportunities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the MD to support business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in project management, operations management, business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, consulting, business development, or a related role.
• Must be 30 years old or younger in 2026.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, particularly to Abuja.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
