About the role
The Officer, Finance & Accounting will ensure the financial integrity and operational efficiency of a secondary healthcare facility in Imo State. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting budgeting processes to sustain high‑quality healthcare delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision‑making and resource optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws and internal controls, mitigating financial risks.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor expenditures, identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve financial processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to audit requirements.
