Nurse and Medical Aesthetician

About the role

A client in the healthcare and beauty industry is urgently looking for a suitably qualified nurse and medical aesthetician. The role covers IV therapy and wellness treatments, professional facials and skincare, client consultation, hygiene and infection control, and medical record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed IV treatments and wellness infusions according to approved clinical protocols and within professional scope of practice
• Assess clients' medical history, allergies and current medications before procedures, and monitor them during and after treatments
• Perform facials including cleansing, exfoliation, extraction where appropriate, massage and moisturizing, and recommend suitable treatments and products
• Conduct client consultations, explain procedures, risks and aftercare, and maintain professional relationships
• Maintain strict hygiene, sterilization and infection prevention standards, and handle needles, sharps and clinical waste safely
• Keep accurate, confidential client records and document treatments, responses and adverse reactions
• Educate clients on skincare routines, hydration and aftercare, and recommend follow-up appointments
• Take part in ongoing training to stay up to date on medical aesthetics and clinical safety

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid practicing licence
• Relevant training or certification in medical aesthetics and facial treatments
• Practical experience administering IV therapy and performing professional facials
• Knowledge of infection prevention, clinical safety, skincare assessment and emergency response
• Additional training in aesthetic procedures is an advantage
