Full-Time Pharmacist

About the role

Precisive Care Pharmacy & Diagnostics is a community-focused healthcare provider in Abuja, Nigeria, combining pharmacy services with laboratory diagnostics. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Pharmacist who will dispense prescription medications accurately, review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and counsel patients on their use.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness
• Counsel patients on proper use, side effects and drug interactions
• Manage inventory of medicines and related products, ensure proper storage conditions and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
• Collaborate with diagnostic staff and other healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care and preventive health advice
• Maintain regulatory and professional standards, document interventions and support quality assurance activities
• Supervise pharmacy support staff and contribute to community health awareness initiatives

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist with a B.Pharm or Pharm.D from an accredited institution, actively registered with Nigerian regulatory bodies
• Strong clinical pharmacy skills, including prescription review, medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Knowledge of community pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory management, cold-chain handling and basic pharmacovigilance
• Familiarity with diagnostic reports and preventive healthcare concepts
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team, mentoring support staff
• Prior experience in community or retail pharmacy is highly preferred; proximity to the pharmacy is preferred
