Network Security Engineer

About the role

Casper Technologies is looking for a proactive Network Security Engineer to protect its IT infrastructure in Lagos. The role focuses on designing, implementing and monitoring security measures to safeguard network systems and company data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor security controls for network systems and data.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and risk analyses.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and apply preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and applicable regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with IT and management teams to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Network or Security Engineer.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and start immediately.
