About the role
The Nephrology Nurse will join a dedicated healthcare team in Marina, providing specialised care to patients undergoing kidney transplantation and dialysis. This role involves direct patient interaction, preparation for surgery, and post‑operative support.
Key responsibilities
- Explain transplant procedures to patients and families.
- Prepare patients for surgery and ensure the operating theatre is safe and sterile.
- Provide post‑operative care, including wound dressing and infection monitoring.
- Prepare dialysis machines and medication, ensuring timely administration.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment, record received care, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients on health management and promote self‑responsibility.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- A Degree in Nursing.
- Entry‑level qualification suitable for a junior position.
Required skills
- Dialysis machine operation.
- Wound dressing techniques.
- Patient monitoring and assessment.
