Neighbourhood Channel Sales Manager (Open Market)

About the role

The Neighbourhood Channel Sales Manager will implement PZ Cussons' sales strategy within the assigned open‑market neighbourhood, driving secondary sales and expanding brand presence. Reporting to the Zonal Manager, you will influence distributor staff without direct management responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Van Sales Representatives (VSR) and achieve their secondary sales targets.
• Expand coverage and ensure product availability in neighbourhood outlets.
• Coach and accompany VSRs to improve performance.
• Execute effective promotional activities at the point of purchase.
• Track and meet SFA (Sales Force Automation) parameters.
• Enhance brand visibility through picture‑of‑success initiatives.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and report findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in marketing or sales with proven KPI delivery.
• Familiarity with the PZ Cussons Way of selling, including sales‑driver execution and outlet segmentation.
• Good knowledge of business objectives and priorities.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory.
• Understanding of field‑sales management and market intelligence.
