Middleware Operations Officer

About the role

The Middleware Operations Officer will support the technical implementation of new solutions and ensure smooth operation of Hope banking channels, including USSD, Internet Banking, Agency, and Mobile platforms. The role involves regular reporting, testing, deployment of updates, and continuous monitoring of transaction flows across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and deploy new updates to banking channels (USSD, Internet Banking, Agency, Mobile).
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports.
• Monitor transaction activity across all channels and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct testing of new solutions to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related applied science.
• 6–7 years of experience managing middleware or front‑end processing (FEP) in a banking environment.
• Experience with Finacle or FinEdge is an advantage.
