Merchandising Officer – Field Activation (Delta)

About the role

The Merchandising Officer will lead on‑ground activation campaigns across Southern Nigeria, ensuring product visibility and consumer engagement for our client brands. This full‑time position is based in Asaba and involves extensive travel to retail, school and market locations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute market, street, school and retail activation campaigns.
• Merchandise products according to company standards and set up branded promotional and sampling stations.
• Conduct consumer education, product sampling and distribute promotional materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Ensure product visibility, pricing compliance and gather market intelligence.
• Submit accurate daily digital field reports via smartphone.
• Maintain company uniforms, merchandising equipment and promotional tools.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, NCE or equivalent qualification.
• Good spoken and written English; fluency in Nigerian Pidgin English.
• Basic smartphone proficiency.
• Valid identification and residence in Asaba or its environs.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Southern Nigeria.

Required skills

• Smartphone usage for reporting and communication.
