Merchandising Officer

About the role

The Merchandising Officer will drive brand activation and product visibility across markets in Southern Nigeria. You will work directly with retailers, distributors, and consumers to ensure our products are well‑presented, correctly priced, and effectively promoted.

Key responsibilities

• Execute market, street, school, and retail activation campaigns.
• Set up branded promotional and sampling stations in line with company standards.
• Conduct consumer education and product sampling activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Ensure proper product visibility, shelf presence, and compliance with approved pricing.
• Distribute promotional materials and gather market intelligence.
• Submit accurate daily digital field reports using a smartphone.
• Maintain company uniforms, merchandising equipment, and promotional assets.

Required profile

• Minimum NCE or equivalent qualification.
• Good spoken and written English and fluency in Nigerian Pidgin English.
• Valid means of identification.
• Residence in Asaba or its environs.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Southern Nigeria.

Required skills

• Basic smartphone proficiency.
