Medical Representative

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and distributors across Abeokuta and Ogun State. You will be responsible for driving product uptake, meeting sales targets, and expanding market penetration within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, distributors and other stakeholders.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through distributor networks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure effective territory coverage.
• Organise product presentations, promotional activities and customer engagements.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and customer needs.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
• Submit accurate and timely sales and activity reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of current medical/pharmaceutical sales experience in Abeokuta State.
• HND in any discipline.
• Active employment in medical/pharmaceutical sales with a strong distributor customer portfolio.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets through distributor networks.
• No unexplained employment gaps on the CV.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Territory management and independent work capability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.
