Mechanical Intern/Apprentice

About the role

Roadmech is seeking a motivated Mechanical Intern/Apprentice to join its workshop in Ijebu‑Ode. This full‑time, on‑site position offers hands‑on exposure to vehicle diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance within the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting using workshop tools.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on a variety of automobiles.
• Execute preventive maintenance procedures to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain workshop safety standards and follow best practices.
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication.

Required profile

• SSCE, OND, Technical School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Passion for automobiles and mechanical systems.
• Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good attitude, discipline and work ethic.
• Physically fit for hands‑on workshop tasks.
• Willingness to reside and work in Ijebu‑Ode for the duration of the internship.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between NGN 70,000 and NGN 150,000.
