MEAL/CAST Coordinator

About the role

The Straight Child Foundation is looking for a MEAL/CAST Coordinator to lead measurement, learning and accountability activities across its clubfoot treatment program. The role will ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis and reporting to improve program outcomes and support evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement MEAL and technical initiatives that strengthen TSCF data systems, tools and approaches.
• Develop, document and communicate MEAL and clinical indicators.
• Promote best practices in data privacy, child safeguarding, parental rights and ethical data use.
• Coordinate with Clinic Coordinators and program managers to monitor CAST community activities and KPI improvements.
• Oversee the use of CAST as the data collection system for the clubfoot program, training and retraining CAST administrators across clinics.
• Track clinic‑level KPIs (enrollments, visit adherence, casting cycles, tenotomy rate, bracing initiation, dropout rate, data completeness, sync timeliness) and produce weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.
• Lead review meetings, facilitate action planning and support continuous program improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Social Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Evaluation or a related field.
• Minimum six years of professional experience designing and implementing M&E or MEAL activities for complex programs.
• Strong written, analytical and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative results into clear, actionable insights.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce or similar database platforms.
• Proficiency in R, Stata and Python for data analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with Kobo Toolbox, SurveyCTO or comparable data collection tools.
• Survey design, programming, implementation, data processing and analysis.
