Marketing Specialist (3-Month Contract)

About the role

SabiWell is a Nigerian online marketplace connecting customers with skilled artisans and tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, builders and tilers. It is looking for a creative, results-driven Marketing Specialist to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and artisan recruitment. The role covers digital and traditional marketing, social media management, content creation and performance reporting. It is a 3-month contract, renewable based on performance, suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Digital marketing and social media: plan and run campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube; manage accounts, posts, engagement and community; build content calendars and create videos, graphics and captions
• Create high-quality visuals, short-form videos and written content, including blog articles, email campaigns and ad copy, keeping brand consistent
• Paid advertising: manage budgets across Facebook, Instagram, Google and TikTok; set up, optimise and report on ad campaigns; A/B test creatives, audiences and copy
• Traditional marketing: support radio campaigns, flyers, posters and estate branding, and coordinate with Field Agents and the Business Development Lead on market activations
• Reporting: track registrations, engagement, conversions and cost per acquisition, and prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Executive Team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management or content creation
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian digital landscape (WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, independent work and deadline discipline
• Startup or tech business experience is an advantage
