Google Ads Media Buyer (Remote)

About the role

A partner company representing a Growth Agency based in Nigeria is hiring a Google Ads Media Buyer to work remotely. You will own paid advertising strategies and campaign performance for direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce brands, managing Google Ads accounts end-to-end from planning and budgeting to execution, testing and optimisation. The focus is on sustainable business growth and real profitability rather than in-platform metrics. The role suits someone who likes independence, accountability and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Google Ads accounts end-to-end, including strategy, execution, budgets and client communication
• Develop performance-driven strategies focused on profit and business growth
• Create, launch, run and optimise campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping and Performance Max
• Optimise shopping feeds and work with the feed management specialist
• Run creative and copy tests, write ad copy and build structured testing frameworks
• Analyse performance beyond in-platform metrics and turn data into optimisation actions
• Monitor budgets, efficiency and profitability, and report insights to clients via Slack and meetings

Required profile

• 1-2 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, preferably with DTC eCommerce brands
• Fluent English and strong understanding of profit-focused advertising
• Independent, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Located in a European time zone or willing to follow EU time-zone requirements
• No specific academic degree required; practical skills and mindset are key

• Feed management, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and conversion tracking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
