Marketing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Officer to lead the sales and distribution of petroleum products, acquire new customers and manage existing accounts. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while strengthening market presence in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to grow business and increase market share.
• Lead field marketing activities and build strong relationships with key clients, distributors, wholesalers and corporate customers.
• Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts and close high‑value sales.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to shape effective sales strategies.
• Prepare marketing reports, sales forecasts and performance analyses for senior management.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient product distribution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in social sciences, marketing, business administration or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and resident in Abuja.

• Salary range: #150,000 – #400,000 net per month.
