Marketing & Media Specialist

About the role

The Marketing & Media Specialist will develop and execute marketing strategies to boost the organization’s visibility, engagement and reach. This role works closely with the team to promote programs, products, events and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase visibility, engagement, and reach.
• Identify and pursue media opportunities for the organization and its initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutions and relevant stakeholders.
• Support the promotion of programs, products, events, and initiatives.
• Develop compelling marketing and promotional content in collaboration with the team.
• Monitor media and market trends and identify opportunities for strategic positioning.
• Represent the organization professionally in relevant marketing and media engagements.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 48 months) in marketing, media, communications, or business development.
• Good understanding of the Nigerian media landscape; existing media relationships are an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Creative, proactive, and results‑oriented, comfortable in a fast‑paced professional environment.
• Ability to develop and execute ideas independently.
