Marketing Executive - Microfinance

About the role

eRecruiter is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a Marketing Executive for a leading investment banking and financial advisory firm in Nigeria and Africa. The firm specialises in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, project and structured finance, and rating advisory services. The Marketing Executive drives sales and marketing activities to attract potential borrowers and grow the customer base, developing strategies, campaigns and initiatives that raise brand awareness, acquire customers and expand the loan portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote micro-lending services and products.
• Lead generation and sales of loan products.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends in the microfinance industry.
• Create and manage marketing campaigns across digital, social media and traditional channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners and community organisations.
• Monitor and analyse marketing performance, reporting regularly and recommending improvements.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors and regulatory changes.
• Assist in producing marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations and promotional materials.
• Take part in events, conferences and networking to boost the company's visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Marketing Executive, preferably in the financial or microfinance sector.
• Familiarity with micro-lending products and services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and analytical ability.
