Communications Intern

About the role

Eight Medical is looking for a creative and strategic communications intern to strengthen its digital presence and engage its online community. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, content creation and healthcare trends; prior experience or knowledge of the healthcare industry is a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, curate and publish engaging content on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Co-manage community interactions by responding to comments, messages and inquiries.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams on visuals, videos and infographics.
• Plan and schedule posts using tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite.
• Stay up to date with healthcare trends, digital marketing strategies and social media best practices.
• Track and analyse social media performance with tools like Google Analytics and Meta Insights, reporting findings and recommendations.
• Support influencer outreach and partnerships, and help execute paid social media campaigns and promotional strategies.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with Eight Medical's values and mission.
