Marketing Area Manager

About the role

The Marketing Area Manager will lead a team of Medical Representatives across multiple territories, driving sales growth and market expansion for pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Medical Representatives within the assigned territory.
• Drive the achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
• Develop and implement effective sales and territory management strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular field coaching and performance evaluations for Medical Representatives.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic market intelligence.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales and market performance reports.
• Ensure proper implementation of promotional activities and marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in any science‑related discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as an Area Manager in a pharmaceutical company.
• Successfully supervised 5–6 Medical Representatives.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
• Age not exceeding 42 years.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Ability to work under pressure.
