Marketing and Business Development Officer

About the role

WAFFI Television is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Associate to drive brand visibility and revenue growth through integrated promotional strategies and strategic partnership development. The role combines the execution of marketing campaigns with the pursuit of new business opportunities, acting as a bridge between creative promotion and commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on designing and running integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business growth objectives.
• Drive viewership awareness for television programming and identify new revenue streams.
• Facilitate social media engagement and community initiatives supporting brand identity and client acquisition.
• Write promotional copy and business proposals to attract partners and advertisers.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing tactics and business planning.
• Negotiate sponsorship deals and advertising inventory with prospective clients and partners.
• Track campaign metrics and business performance indicators to optimise growth.
• Coordinate logistics for promotional events and manage the inventory of marketing and business assets.
• Maintain records of client interactions and stakeholder communications, and support strategic plans for station expansion.

Required profile

• Ability to support both marketing initiatives and business development efforts.
