About the role
HACEY is looking for a Communication Officer in Lagos to help tell its story and show the impact of its work in health, gender equality and economic inclusion. The role focuses on creating engaging content, amplifying community voices and making HACEY's work visible, relatable and inspiring.
Key responsibilities
- Create content for social media, the website, newsletters and reports
- Capture programme activities through photos, videos and human-interest stories
- Share real stories of impact from beneficiaries, especially women and youth
- Support campaigns on health awareness, gender equality and economic empowerment
- Ensure all communication reflects HACEY's voice, values and brand
- Work with programme teams to gather updates and success stories
- Assist in writing reports, press releases and communication materials
- Monitor engagement on digital platforms and prepare simple reports
- Support visibility during events, trainings and community outreach
