Marketing & Admissions Officer

About the role

The Marketing & Admissions Officer will support the pre‑opening Marketing team at Wellington College International Lagos, ensuring smooth delivery of marketing activities, admissions events and stakeholder engagements. The role is highly organised, proactive and involves a variety of project‑based tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of open days, information sessions, school fairs, community events and parent engagement activities, handling logistics such as registration, venue setup, catering and transportation.
• Research suppliers, obtain quotations and coordinate production and delivery of marketing materials and branded merchandise.
• Track inventory of brochures, banners, giveaways and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Maintain organised records of contracts, invoices, marketing assets and provide administrative support to both Marketing and Admissions teams.
• Assist with budget tracking, meeting scheduling and ad‑hoc tasks during peak enrolment periods.

Required profile

• Good degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years experience in marketing, admissions, communications or customer service.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and able to work independently within a small team.
• Positive, flexible and can‑do attitude with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
